Yasmine Calasse

This work is based and rooted in improvisation, and explores cascading and circulating frequencies of the mind and our state of being in the time of Covid-19. Experiences of being trapped, confined and placed in what seems to be a repetitive loop. The artist intends to project how unsettling this time has been, but how we have simultaneously found an alternative sense of grounding. The work was displayed on the famous Western Province building.
